The Art of Creative Writing with Sam Lee

Join acclaimed writer, storyteller and song collector Sam Lee as he guides us in the craft of creative writing. This workshop will take inspiration from contemporary & classic poetry as well as folk narratives which will become the starting point for writing our own pieces. We will explore the ways in which sound, image, and idea conspire to create the world of a poem.

Expect to be introduced to fresh, inventive exercises as well as tried and tested tools designed to inspire us to think about language in new ways while supporting us to express ourselves creatively through our own writing. Complete beginners through to seasoned poets are very welcome!
