Behind the Scenes of Glastonbury

For fifty years, revellers have ventured to Glastonbury for a festival which has grown from 1,500 attendees (and a free pint of Worthy Farm milk with every ticket!) to 200,000. For those who would have usually been reaching for wellies, glittering costumes and tent pegs, join us for an unmissable conversation with the festival’s Head of Partnerships, Robert Richards, and celebrated film director, Julien Temple, who collaborated on the iconic production ‘The Glastonbury Film’ (2005); a vivid chronicle of thirty years of Glastonbury.

Julien Temple’s illustrious career spans music videos and documentaries with rock and roll legends including The Rolling Stones, David Bowie and Janet Jackson, while Richard has played an integral role in the festival’s ongoing success. The pair discuss the making of the film and consider what it takes to create the festival’s unrivalled euphoric energy, as they take us back, side and centre stage at Glastonbury; a pop-up city of dreams.
