In 2020, we teamed up with talented British artist, Ian Bruce to bring you the Lockdown Portraits, an initiative that raised £10,000 for NHS Charities Together.

Sitting for a portrait is an intimate affair and audiences got a front row seat as an entertaining conversation unfolded between the artists and his subject while he painted. Celebrated comedians sat for Ian Bruce, including Jimmy Carr, Jade Adams and the legendary Barry Humphries CBE. We’re delighted to bring you a new lockdown portrait as world renowned fashion designer, Ozwald Boateng OBE, sits for Ian Bruce.

Boateng’s revolutionary career in the fashion industry spans over 25 years, in which he’s headed up Givenchy Homme as Creative Director, co-founded Made in Africa Foundation and attracted A-list clientele including Will Smith, Jamie Foxx, Russell Crowe, Forest Whitaker, Spike Lee, and Mick Jagger. He was recently awarded an honorary degree for his ‘outstanding contribution to the clothing and fashion industries’, was named as one of the Most Influential Londoners by the Evening Standard and recognised in the Queen’s Birthday Honours in 2006.

Watch as the artwork unfolds and the pair discuss life, fashion and the future.
