A British explorer, writer and photographer, Levison completed a 5000-mile circumnavigation of the Arabian peninsula from Iraq to Lebanon, has walked the length of the River Nile and traversed the Himalayas. He spent a number of years as an Officer in the British Parachute Regiment, where he served in Afghanistan fighting against Taliban insurgents in Helmand and Kandahar.

The author of six best-selling books and producer of a number of critically acclaimed documentaries, Levison joined us to share a fascinating insight into his life as an explorer, in a riveting interview with freelance journalist and Soho Radio presenter, Emma Bartholomew.
