Having grown up on the ‘English Riviera’, Tom moved to London in 2009 to attend drama school. His career in private events began at Party Planners, working for the Queen’s cousin, Lady Elizabeth Anson. Here, Tom worked on a number of high-profile events for multiple Royal Families at locations including St James’s Palace, The V&A Museum and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. His career then took him to Claridge’s, joining the events team as an Events Executive. Working for the Maybourne Hotel Group for the next three and a half years, Tom was promoted three times, settling in the role of Social Events Manager. During this time, he organised a host of ballroom weddings, bar mitzvahs, anniversaries and milestone birthday celebrations.
Taking a newly created role as Private Events Manager at Annabel’s, Tom co-ordinated parties for members, charities and luxury brands before joining The Arts Club in July 2020 as Head of Private Events. He has been an incredible asset to The Arts Club and as such, was promoted to Director of Events in January 2022.
