Having successfully completed four years studying Hospitality Management in Italy, Mirko moved to London in 2011 to begin his career with Sartoria restaurant. Starting as a commis waiter, Mirko has learned all operational aspects of front of house, eventually becoming Floor Supervisor. After moving to Bluebird Chelsea, and later gaining invaluable experience with the hotel and restaurant group D&D London, Mirko joined The Arts Club in 2015 as Assistant Manager of Kyubi.
In his first year, Mirko enrolled in our inhouse Management Development programme, furthering his professional development and honing his leadership skills. His commitment to excellent service and enthusiasm for Japanese culture and cuisine has fuelled the development of Kyubi, with a number of new initiatives introduced as the restaurant continues to grow – recently taking over the third floor of the club.
